JOB DESCRIPTION:
The consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced account planning tools and processes tailored to major retail customers in the CPG sector. The role involves creating user-friendly and scalable templates (Excel, PowerPoint, or web-based tools) for annual operating plans, trade spend allocation, promotional windows, planogram resets, and long-term account strategy. The consultant will work across 20–30 high-priority retail accounts, aligning planning with merchandising resets and fiscal year cycles, while ensuring consistency and actionable insights for sales teams. A strong understanding of reset mod tools, trade planning software, and promotional planning cycles is essential to enable sales teams to execute effectively and improve retailer collaboration.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS (Ideal Candidate):

Extensive experience in CPG account planning, ideally in the meat industry;

Proven track record with annual and trade planning for top retailers (e.g., Walmart, Kroger);

Knowledge of fiscal year planning cycles and trade/merchandising resets;

Expertise with reset mod tools, trade planning software, and promotional planning;

Experience at Director-level or senior Sales/Marketing positions (e.g., Trade Planning Director);

Ability to recommend technology solutions for scalable strategic account planning;

Strong background in salesforce enablement and actionable framework design.
