JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include the design and development of RF assemblies, analog and mixed-signal circuits, including ADCs, DACs and power-supply circuitry.
- Design and develop RF assemblies.
- Design analog and mixed-signal circuits, including ADCs, DACs and power-supply circuitry.
- Create detailed schematics.
- Oversee the layout of complex high-frequency printed circuit boards.
- Design test fixtures.
- Support prototype bring-up and testing.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality and program-management teams.
This is a hands-on individual-contributor role offering significant technical responsibility. The selected candidate will also provide guidance, mentoring and training to junior engineers, helping to strengthen the capabilities of the engineering team.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- BSEE or MSEE required.
- 5–10 years of experience designing and developing complex electronic systems.
- Strong background in RF and microwave circuit design.
- Experience with analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including ADCs, DACs and power-supply architectures.
- Expertise in schematic capture and high-frequency PCB design and layout.
- Strong laboratory skills with experience using RF and electronic test equipment.
- Experience designing test fixtures and supporting prototype evaluation and validation.
- Ability to analyze system-level trade-offs, identify technical risks and develop effective engineering solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate within cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience mentoring, training and supporting the development of less-experienced engineers.
COMPENSATION
Base Salary: $140,000–$200,000 annually
Additional Compensation: Bonus
