JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Solutions Architect will lead the optimization of existing Planview configurations and enable seamless, best-practice integration with JIRA. Acting as the bridge between tools and teams, this role will align Planview structures with Agile/JIRA workflows, ensure proper metadata conventions, and deliver reporting that provides an end-to-end view of execution and capacity. Responsibilities include refining Planview hierarchies, implementing mapping between Planview projects and JIRA epics/stories, supporting dashboards and reporting, partnering with Agile and PM teams to test and roll out the integration, and contributing to adoption, governance, and training strategies.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS (Ideal Candidate):

• 7+ years of hands-on experience configuring Planview (AdaptiveWork or Enterprise One);

• Deep experience integrating Planview with JIRA Software or JIRA Service Management;

• Strong knowledge of Planview’s hierarchical data model and alignment with Agile constructs (Epics, Stories, Tasks);

• Proven ability to configure Planview metadata structures (custom fields, tags, statuses) for reporting and forecasting;

• Experience facilitating workshops, translating requirements, and delivering integration strategies;

• Familiarity with reporting frameworks consolidating Planview and JIRA data.
