Job Description
The consultant will support a strategic commercial excellence initiative, focusing on pricing strategy, sales enablement, and channel management for a mid-market manufacturer and distributor. The role involves developing segmented, value-based pricing structures, quantifying price-value positioning, and building pricing tools such as dashboards and tiering logic. The consultant will also support the design and rollout of negotiation training, refine Salesforce compensation structures, and create playbooks and sales engagement guides. In addition, the consultant will assist in designing third-party representative models, defining performance metrics, and ensuring governance mechanisms. The project requires managing independent workstreams, presenting insights to senior stakeholders, and supporting the client team with practical implementation and knowledge transfer.
Employment Requirements (Ideal Candidate)

4–6+ years of consulting experience, ideally in pricing, commercial strategy, or sales enablement;

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights;

Background in industrials, apparel, or B2B distribution preferred (not required);

Proven ability to lead client-facing workstreams and present to senior executives;

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation);

Hands-on, impact-driven approach with experience implementing solutions.
