VENTILATION FITTER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Do you know the luxury yachts of multi-millionaires that you see in the ports of Monaco and Dubai? These luxury yachts are fully equipped and require craftsmanship. How nice is it to say that you, as ventilation fitter, have worked on a yacht of €300 million?

You work inside a large ship’s hall in a well-conditioned climate at the same temperature every day. This ensures that working in the Dutch shipyards is experienced as very pleasant. The day will start with a short introduction about the work you will be carrying out that day.

From a technical plan (3D or from paper) you will build your air ducts independently or together with a colleague. You build square air ducts but also round (spiro) insulated ducts.

During your work, coffee and lunch break you come into contact with fellow nationals and other nationalities. Building these luxury yachts takes an average of 2-3 years, after which new projects start again. So you will have work for a longer period of time and you can make nice friends. We have many people who enjoying working for this customer through the company for several years.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluency in English at a communicative level;
• Diploma of completed education or certificate;
• Driving license;
• Knowledge and experience with installations at shipyards;
• VCA/ SCC is provided by the client;
• Minimum 3 of experience in installations of air ducts/ventilation systems;
• Skills for reading technical drawings;
• A good work attitude;
• Experience in working with ventilation channels, experience in shipbuilding is a bonus;
• Experience with installation of ventilation systems and can work independently;
• Experience with working at a shipyard is not required, but good to have already;
• Clean criminal record.

THE COMPANY OFFERS:

• Start salary €13 net per hour (also for overtime);
• € 520 net per week for 40 working hours – full-time employment. Working hours are during the day;
• The company offers a separate room with Wi-Fi in the fully equipped house at the employer’s expense. They also provide a car, health insurance, work clothes, and tools;
• Assistance with issuing a BSN number and a Dutch bank account;
• Free transport and picking up from the train station in Nijkerk from meeting person, work tools, clothing and safety equipment, and welding mask are provided by the company, but please one set your work clothes and shoes;
• Ability to use the company car for personal purposes, but you need to pay for this (taxes and fuel);
• VCA certificate – organized, conducted, and paid by the employer after signing the employment contract;
• The projects are for a longer time, can be from 6 months or much longer;
• Free airline tickets for employees who pass for 6 months. the cost is restored by the end of the first working month;
• The short distance between work and accommodation up to 30 km;
• Working time – 40 hours a week. The salary is paid each week, the first salary is being paid for the second week;
