RESPONSIBILITIES:

Do you know the luxury yachts of multi-millionaires that you see in the ports of Monaco and Dubai? These luxury yachts are fully equipped and require craftsmanship. How nice is it to say that you, as a steelworker, have worked on a yacht of €300 million?

The day will start with a short introduction about the work you will be carrying out that day. You will work inside a large ship’s hall or sometimes outside. As a steelworker, you know how to read the technical drawing. You place the steel penetrations on the correct place on the ceilings or walls and attach (weld) them at four points. You will also place the supports for the ventilation channels in the right place.

During your work, coffee and lunch break you come into contact with fellow nationals and other nationalities. Building these luxury yachts takes an average of 2-3 years, after which new projects start again. So you will have to work for a longer period of time and you can make nice friends. EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Skills for reading technical drawings;
• Experience as a steelworker in the shipbuilding industry;
• Experience with (easy) welding, flame-cutting, and other metal tools;
• The knowledge of the placement and attachment of steel implementations on location (on board);
• You speak English and have a driving license
• Clean criminal record.

THE COMPANY OFFERS:

• Start salary – 520 netto per week;
• Salary per hour – €13 net per hour (Also for overtime). Working hours are during the day;
• The company offers a private room with Wi-Fi in the fully equipped house at the employer’s expense. They also provide a car or €0,19 for each km for own car, insurance, work clothes, and tools.
• Assistance with issuing a BSN number and a Dutch bank account;
• Free transport and picking up from the train station in Nijkerk from meeting person, work tools, clothing and safety equipment, are provided by the company.;
• Ability to use the company car for personal purposes, but you need to pay for this (taxes and fuel);
• VCA certificate – organized, conducted, and paid by the employer after signing the employment contract;
• Free airline ticket for employees who pass for 6 months. The cost is restored by the end of the first working month;
• The short distance between work and accommodation is up to 30 km.
• The salary is paid each week, the first salary is being paid the second week;
• The company will get to know you and guide you to your first working day, and they invest in your future and want to work together for a longer period of time.;
• The place of work is in Germany, but the job posting is with a Dutch employment contract.
